In the summer of 2010 from July 17 to August 1, the Central American and Caibbean Games will be celebrated in Mayaguez Puerto Rico. An estimated 350,000 visitors from 40 different countries are expected. 17 municipalities will be hosting events. Mayaguez will be hosting the Swimming, Water Polo, and Diving competitions. The New Complex has a total cost of 28.5 million dollars.
